Printed materials that hold up in a high-stakes meeting

Corporate presentations, catalogues, presentation magazines and event materials, laid out properly and technically prepared for print, from brief to press sign-off.

  • You go into meetings with decision makers where the decision is slow and several people are involved
  • You need a catalogue or a presentation magazine with real weight in the hand
  • You already have a visual identity and want to apply it properly to physical pieces, with no reprint risk

01 · What it costs you today

  • You signed off the proof in a hurry

Once the print sign-off is given, responsibility for the content passes entirely to you. On a run of a few thousand copies, a mistake spotted afterwards means a full reprint, not a correction.

  • The file comes out of the press looking different from the screen

Over 40% of orders sent without expert technical preparation run into problems that need corrections, shifted colours, unwanted white edges, substituted fonts.

  • You no longer have a photo and video team for the catalogue

A catalogue or a presentation magazine depends structurally on quality imagery, and the absence of a clear photography source blocks layout before it starts.

  • The presentation looks dated in a high-stakes meeting

A sales presentation built like a PowerPoint from a decade ago shows exactly where execution matters most, in front of a decision maker.

02 · What you get

  • A complete print-ready file

PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-4, with bleed, the right colour profile for the chosen paper and fonts converted to outlines, no surprises at the printer.

  • Technical checks before sign-off, not after

We check the physical proof, not just the on-screen preview, and we are present at the moment of print sign-off, especially on large runs or pieces that are hard to reprint.

  • A coherent visual system across every piece

From roll-up banner to catalogue, the same brand rules applied consistently, so the materials look like products of the same company rather than improvised from one event to the next.

  • We solve the photography need without producing it ourselves

Your existing material, licensed image libraries to fill gaps, or coordinating a third-party photographer, with the brief and print specifications included.

  • Direct coordination with the printer

From gathering quotes and checking paper weight or certifications, through to the print run and delivery.

  • We measure what can be measured

For materials distributed digitally, open rate, completion rate, conversion to the next step. For pure print, real proxies, QR codes, follow-ups, sales team feedback.

03 · How we work

  1. 01

    Brief and content

The material's objective, the audience, the available copy and the decision on the photography source, your own material, an image library or a third-party photographer.

  2. 02

    Concept and layout

A simple brochure and a 40+ page magazine do not follow the same process. The duration varies genuinely with the complexity of the piece.

  3. 03

    Print-ready preparation

CMYK conversion, bleed, font outlining, PDF/X export, preflight checks, before the file reaches the printer.

  4. 04

    Proof, sign-off and print run

A careful check of the physical proof, active presence at print sign-off, then the run and delivery.

04 · Results

  • Uponpresentation magazine

An exclusive magazine for the villas in a residential development, from editorial structure through to the print files.

These are the figures reported by the clients themselves, for their own accounts, over the periods shown. We do not turn them into derived percentages and we do not present them as reproducible.

05 · What people usually ask us

“It is cheaper to go straight to the printer.”
A printer produces, it does not lay out and does not technically check the file before sign-off. Over 40% of orders sent without expert preparation run into problems, and the price difference disappears fast if an error shows up on a large run.
“We do it in-house, in Word or PowerPoint.”
That works for internal use. It does not work for a material that goes straight in front of an investor or a B2B decision maker, exactly where visual execution shapes how the company is perceived.
“Why do you not do photography too, like other design agencies?”
From the same transparency policy we apply across all our services, we do not sell a service we no longer deliver at the level of our reputation. We coordinate your material or a third party's, with a clear brief and print specifications.

06 · Frequently asked questions

Do you also do photography for catalogues or presentation magazines?
We no longer offer photo and video production as our own service. We solve the imagery need through your existing material, licensed image libraries to fill gaps, or by coordinating a third-party photographer, with the brief and technical specifications included in the process.
What does a brochure, a catalogue or a presentation magazine cost?
It depends on pages, paper and run size. An 8 page brochure starts from 2.5-2.8 lei per copy on small runs, a catalogue over 100 pages reaches around 30 lei per copy on a run of 100. A magazine-style publication is quoted individually.
Who is responsible if a mistake shows up after the run has been printed?
Responsibility for the content passes to the client once the print sign-off is approved, which is standard industry practice. That is exactly why we run the technical check rigorously and are present at that step, rather than just sending the file and waiting.
What is bleed and why does it matter?
It is the extra margin, usually 3 mm, that the background and decorative elements extend beyond the final trim line, to compensate for the mechanical tolerance of guillotine cutting. Without it, unwanted white strips appear at the edge.
What does FSC certified paper mean and why should you care?
FSC and its equivalent PEFC guarantee that the wood the paper comes from originates in responsibly managed forests, traceable across the whole production chain. More and more corporate buyers explicitly require the certification in their tender specifications.
